Land Accelerator 2024 Rwandan Cohort Successfully Accomplished In-Person Training

From September 16 to 19, 2024, the Land Accelerator Rwandan cohort participated in an impactful in-person training at Bethany Hotel in Karongi. Co-organized by Agriprofocus Rwanda, Global restoration initiative, and Africa Agribusness Academy, this event provided valuable learning experiences for entrepreneurs in the ecosystem restoration sector.
The training equipped participants with crucial skills to elevate their restoration businesses and drive positive environmental change. The key topics covered included:
1️⃣ Pitching for Impact: Participants learned the art of delivering compelling pitches to investors and partners, helping them secure funding and build strong collaborations to scale their restoration ventures.
2️⃣ Gender & Restoration: A focus on gender inclusivity was incorporated, emphasizing how promoting equal opportunities in the restoration field can accelerate the success and sustainability of restoration projects.
3️⃣ Sustainable Nursery Operations: Participants delved into sustainable nursery management techniques, gaining knowledge to establish and operate nurseries that support ecosystem restoration efforts.
The event successfully empowered Rwandan enterprises to combine environmental restoration with profitable business models, creating solutions that benefit both ecosystems and communities.
With the completion of this training, these businesses are now better equipped to restore ecosystems while growing sustainable and profitable ventures. The Land Accelerator 2024 is playing a key role in nurturing the next generation of leaders in ecosystem restoration.
